Serving at the present time in the organized naval air reserve. Married on January 26, 1945, at Atlantic City, New Jersey, to Dorothy Jean Kurtzweil of Boone, Iowa. Has one child, David Randall Cooksey, born October 1, 1946. Engaged in practicing law at Spencer, Iowa. Member of Clay county and Iowa State Bar Associations, Spencer Christian church, and American Legion. Serving second term.
