Waukon Allamakee County Republican Born December 24, 1886. Graduate of Waukon, Iowa high school, 1907. Graduated from Iowa University with the degree of B.A. in 1911 and from the College of Law in 1915. Was superintendent of schools at Lineville, Iowa, from 1911 to 1913. Admitted to practice of law in 1915 and that same year opened a general practice at Waukon. During World War I was at Camp Dodge for thirteen months. Was Allamakee county attorney eight years and is father of three sons, Robert, Roger and Richard. Serving sixth term.
