Lime Springs Howard County Republican Born September 14, 1890, Colesburg, Iowa. Son of J. H. and Anna Woeste Brockmeyer. Received education in rural schools at Colesburg. Attended Charles City College, and Cornell College. Served in 129th Inf. 33rd Division in World War I. Married Clara L. Kuntz in 1920. Father of three daughters; Wilma (Mrs Harmon Hinners), Lois (Mrs. William DeGoode) and Zeida (Mrs. Robert Clark). Farmed near Colesburg from 1920-1932 and from 1932 on his own farm near Lime Springs, Iowa. Member of Methodist church and has served on Township AAA Committee. President of Howard county Farm Bureau, Township Clerk and President of Howard County Experimental Farm. Serving first term.
