Moved with parents, Rose and Michael Fandel to Iowa on a 320 acre farm, two miles west of Whittemore in Palo Alto county in 1900 where he still resides and farms. Received education in Whittemore Academy. Married to Adele Reilly in 1917. Father of nine children. Six girls, three boys. Fieldman for five years for a hybrid Corn company. Also serves as board member for Cooperative Creamery and local school district. Member of Roman Catholic Church. Is active in all home community activities. Serving first term.
