Pleasantville Marion County Republican Born near Holland, Nebraska, January 25, 1911. In 1923 he moved with his parents to Pleasantville, Iowa, where he has Since resided. He attended the public schools of Pleasantville, State University of Iowa and was graduated from Des Moines College of Law in 1941. He was admitted to the Iowa Bar in June, 1941. Married to Geneva Van Loon August 10, 1940. Served three years with United States Navy in World War II, with two years overseas duty. Engaged in motor freight, grocery and cold storage locker business. Member of V.F.W. and American Legion. Serving first term.
