Inwood Lyon County Republican Born on a farm near Dubuque, Iowa, November 27, 1878. Educated in the public schools in Dubuque and attended business college in Illinois. Married Clara Miller, February 14, 1907, and moved to Inwood, Iowa, to a farm where they still reside. Have three children, Beulah, Ferne and Edna. Was Township Assessor for six years, secretary of the Richland township school board for twenty-nine years, County Supervisor for six terms, and a member of the Old Age Assistance board for two years. Is a member of the Methodist church and Masonic lodge. Serving third term.
