Davenport Scott County Republican. Born September 26, 1886, on a farm he now owns and operated until April 4, 1942. Now resides in Davenport, Iowa, Scott county. An only son of Ferdinand and Amelia Lage. Married Ella Elmhegreen September, 1912. Has been a feeder of cattle and hog raiser all his life. Was trustee of Lincoln township for fifteen years and director of the Farmers Cooperative Elevator Company for eighteen years. Serving first term.
