Shannon City Union County Republican. Born at Utica, Nebraska, 1885, the oldest son of Ezra A. and Amy C. Edwards. Moved to Lorimor, Iowa, in 1896, and has been a resident of Union county since that time. A graduate of the Lorimor high school and attended C.C.C. College in Des Moines. Married to Avis Ewing in 1910, and has one daughter, Carol. Has been in the mercantile business in Shannon City for the past thirty-five years. A director of the Diagonal State Bank, and secretary of the board of education for the last ten years. Is affiliated with the Methodist church. Serving second term.
