Swedesburg Henry County Republican. Born March 24, 1890, of Charles J. and Elizabeth Anderson at Swedesburg, Henry county. Educated in rural schools and Howes Academy and Teachers Training School, Mt. Pleasant, Iowa. Taught in the schools of Henry county three years. Has taken an active interest in various community activities. Interested in general farming, livestock feeding, crops and farm seeds. Elected to State Legislature, 1942.
