Henry County
Francis M. White was born October 25, 1820, in Canton, Indiana.  He was a farmer, teacher, and the Henry County treasurer from 1861 to 1863. Francis married Sarah H. Brown in 1843 in Ohio and they had six children.  Sarah died in 1869.  By 1880 he had moved to Harper County, Kansas, and had married Eliza J. White. He was deputy county clerk of Harper County. He passed away on March 13, 1892.
