Rock Rapids Lyon County Republican Born at Larchwood, Iowa, Dec. 6, 1902. Graduated Larchwood high school, 1921. Member of Congregational church. Attended Morningside College, Sioux City, and University of South Dakota; graduated from University Law School in 1928. Admitted to practice law in South Dakota in 1928. Worked two years in Trust Department, Bank of Italy, Los Angeles, California. Admitted to practice of law in Iowa and federal courts in 1932. Practiced law at Rock Rapids since 1932. County attorney 1935-36. Married to Arlie Pruitt of Larchwood, Iowa, December 25, 1934. Serving first term in legislature.
