Bloomfield Davis County Republican Born on a farm in Des Moines county, June 3, 1899, son of Henry C. and Lilly Fimmen. Educated in rural schools of Des Moines county, Burlington high school and was graduated from the University of Iowa College of Law in 1930. Began the practice of law in Bloomfield, Iowa, in August, 1930. Married to Mildred D. Wharton, September 26, 1931, and has one daughter, Barbara Jean, 6. Elected county attorney of Davis county three terms, 1933 to 1939. A member of the Methodist church, Masonic lodge, Rotary International and Delta Theta Phi legal fraternity. Elected to the legislature in 1940.
