After graduating from the public schools, attended Tobin College at Fort Dodge. Married to Anna Lowry of Gilman; father of two daughters, Mrs. Emory Troxel, Detroit, Mich., and Mrs. Don Stanton, Albany, New York. Moved to Buena Vista county in 1916. In the grain business 38 years. Now retired. A Mason, member of the Consistory and of Shrine of Sioux City.
