Lake City Calhoun County Republican. Born at Paton, Greene county, Iowa, April 26, 1890, son of D. W. and Flora Wilson. Educated in the schools of Greene county. Married January 28, 1913, to Mary E. White; father of six children: Mildred, Walter, Richard, Mabel, Marion and Marjorie. Engaged in farming until 1928 in Greene county, where he owned three farms. Moved to Lake City in 1928 and entered the rendering business. Served on the Lake City council for several years, and gave much time to Boy Scout promotion. A member of the First Presbyterian church. Serving first term in legislature.
