Representative from Pocahontas county, was born in the same county in 1887. Homesteaded in Montana, 1913-1917, also spent one year in Kossuth county. Returned that spring to Pocahontas county, near Rolfe, and has remained on same section since. Entered World war, November 2, 1917, served overseas with first division. Was wounded in May, 1918. Was awarded division citation, general order No. 1, and is recipient of Purple Heart by order of A. G. No. 201. He is married and has three children. Occupation, farming. Serving second term in legislature. A republican.
