Representative from Delaware county, residence, Manchester, Iowa. He was born in Webster City, Iowa, and spent the early years of his life on a farm in Hamilton county. He received his education in the rural schools of the community and at Cedar Valley Seminary, at Osage, Iowa. He was in the grain, lumber and livestock business in Hamilton county until 1918 when he moved to his present residence in Delaware county. He has since been engaged in farming. He was married in 1894 to Anna S. Christenson (deceased), has four children; Ray I., George C, Emma C. and Ruth A. He is a member of the Congregational church, M. W. A. 7848, and A. F. & A. M. 547. Republican in politics
