JAMES M. HEALD, farmer and former state legislator, died in Nashua, Iowa, on November 12, 1939. He was born at Bradford, Iowa, January 26, 1861, and received his education in the Bradford Academy and at Iowa State Teachers College. Mr. Heald was engaged in farming most of his life. He was elected to represent Chickasaw County in the 42nd, 42nd Extra, and the 43rd General Assemblies.
