Henry C. Hattendorf
Osceola County
Representative from Osceola county, was born in Lake county, Indiana. He received his education in the parochial and public schools. Learned the carpenter trade and worked at it for a number of years. He has served as township clerk and as secretary of the school board. He was a member of the county board of supervisors for three terms and was elected twice chairman of the board and has been township assessor. He married Louisa Glade in 1892. Engaged in farming and stock raising. Was elected representative in 1922, re-elected in 1924 and 1926. He was seated in the forty-third general assembly but in an election contest lost to O. J. Ditto. A life-long republican.
