After the adjournment of the forty-second genera1 assembly he became the editor and publisher of the Pocahontas Democrat which, under his management, is an independent newspaper. On December 18, 1926, he married Miss Elsa Erickson of Marathon, Iowa, whom he had met in college. They are the parents of one daughter, Virginia, and a son, Joseph Warne.
