Representative from Linn county, was born in Linn county, Iowa, December 16, 1872. His parents came to Iowa in 1837 from Ohio and settled at Ivanhoe, Linn county, the present Wolfe homestead, and the ownership of which has been and is in the Wolfe family. He has been in the active practice of medicine in Mt. Vernon for twenty-five years and also engaged in farming and the real estate business in Iowa and the south.
