FRANK C. SAMPSON Representative from Audubon. county, was born on a farm in Audubon county, Iowa, April 12, 1881. He attended the rural schools, graduated from the Audubon high school, and then went to Grinnell college. Later he entered Iowa state college at Ames, giving special attention to animal husbandry and agricultural subjects. Since finishing his education he has devoted his time largely to the operation of his stock farm in Audubon county, a part of which was once the homestead of his father. His interests are almost entirely agricultural. Upon announcing his candidacy for representative, he resigned as secretary of the Audubon county farm bureau, a position held by him since its organization. In 1920 he was elected for the fourth time as treasurer of the Audubon County Fair association and is now treasurer of the Audubon County Community club. He is a stockholder and one of the organizers of the Iowa Savings bank at Audubon. In 1907 he married May Layland. They have a daughter, Mary Louise. He is an active Methodist, and a member of all Masonic bodies. Elected representative in 1920 and re-elected in 1922 and is a republican in politics.
