Representative from the Eighty-ninth district. Was born in Stevenson county, Ill., on February 4, 1862. In 1866 he moved with his parents to Iowa and settled on a farm in Chickasaw county in Stapleton township, Section 10. On May 24, 1888 he was married to Miss Susan Schlatter and moved to a farm in Section 14, Stapleton township, where he now resides. He has served many years as school director, as township trustee and was elected county supervisor in 1908-he held this office for six years. Was elected representative on November 2, 1920. A democrat in politics.
