Pottawattamie County
One of the representatives from Pottawattamie county, was born at Wittman, Maryland, November 22, 1883. Removed to Yorkville, Illinois, in 1902 and learned the printers' trade in the office of the Kendall County Record. At the age of twenty-three he became owner and publisher of the Franklin Grove Reporter published at Franklin Grove, Illinois. Removed to Oakland, Iowa, in 1910, since which time he has been engaged in the business of printing and publishing: Editor and publisher of the Oakland Acorn, and Harrison's Home Farmer. Was married June 15, 1907, to Ethel Brubaker and has one son and two daughters. Was elected representative in 1920. A republican in politics.
