Ross Calhoon Gray
Calhoun County
Representative from Calhoun county, was born at Rockwell City in said county on the nineteenth day of November, 1882. He graduated from the high school of his native town in 1900 and from the law department of the State University of Iowa in 1904. Upon graduation he entered the practice of law with his father, W. E. Gray, at Rockwell City, Iowa, and was so engaged up to January 1, 1909, when he became clerk of the district court of Calhoun county. He has held several minor political offices, serving as city attorney, justice of the peace and member of the board of library trustees and is a member of several fraternal organizations. Elected representative in 1914. Re-elected in 1916. A republican in politics.
