Representative from Johnson county, was born July 10, 1889, on a farm in Johnson county. Attended public schools and the Iowa City academy. Taught in the public schools of Iowa and South Dakota. Spent four years in the State University of Iowa, one year in the College of Liberal Arts and three years in the College of Law, from which he was graduated in 1913. He has practiced his profession in Iowa City, Iowa, since his admission to the bar, as a member of the firm of Baldwin & Baldwin. Was elected representative in 1916. A democrat in politics.
