Representative from Taylor county, was born in Hardin county, Iowa, March 12, 1872. He moved with his parents to Taylor county in 1874 and has been a resident of Taylor county since that time. Lived on a farm for twenty years. Was educated in the public schools and Drake University. Was manager of the Bedford Mill Company for ten years. Was elected county auditor in 1910 and served as such until January 1, 1915. A republican in politics.
