Representative from Lee county, was born at Lincoln, Nebraska, August 19, 1884. He moved to Fort Madison, Iowa, in 1898. His grandfather, John S. Hamilton served in the Fifth General Assembly of Iowa, his maternal grandfather, Judge J. M. Casey, served in the Eighteenth and Twenty-first General Assemblies and his uncle J. D. M. Hamilton served in the Seventeenth General Assembly. Mr. Hamilton was educated at the Ft. Madison high school and the universities of Utah, Colorado, Kansas and Iowa. He was claim adjuster for the G.C.& S.F. Ry. Co. in Texas in 1906 and 1907, since which time he has practiced law in Ft. Madison. Elected Representative in 1910. A Democrat in politics.
