Representative from Lee county, was born of American parentage in Lee county, Iowa, May 3, 1848. Was educated in the rural schools and finished with a course in Denmark Academy, Lee county. Has always followed farming as an occupation, and has lived on the same farm for sixty years. Elected Representative in 1908. A Republican in politics.
