ENOUCH BEERY Representative from Henry county. Born in Baltimore township, Henry county. He is the youngest child of a family of seven children, three boys and four girls, sons and daughters of Levi L. and Margaret (Short) Beery, both of whom were natives of Fairfield county, Ohio, moving to Henry county, Iowa, in 1842. He received his early education in the district school, afterwards attending Howe's Academy at Mount Pleasant. He is married, has three children, two sons and one daughter. He has always been engaged in farming and stock raising, his home place consisting of a farm of 320 acres, located near Salem, in Salem township. He is a member of the Masonic fraternity, having attained the degrees of the lodge, chapter and commandry. Also a member of the K. of P. Lodge. He was married in April, 1861, to Susie Raines. Elected Representative in 1906. A Republican in politics.
