Mr. Morrison of Grundy, from the committee to draft resolution on the death of Hon. H. S. Draper, offered the following report and moved it be adopted:
WHEREAS, Hon. H. S. Draper of Grundy county, a member of the House of Representatives in the Twenty-second General Assembly, has recently passed over to “the undiscovered country from whose bourn no traveler returns,” therefore, be it resolved by this House:
Resolved, That the members of this House hereby tender their sympathies to the surviving relatives; that we cheerfully testify to the personal worth and high character of the deceased; that these resolutions be spread upon the Journal of the House, and that the Chief Clerk be instructed to mail a copy to the bereaved family.
