Born in New Hampshire October 28, 1808, and after living in Massachusetts and Maine came to this county in 1870. He owns 80 acres of farm land in Dallas county. Mr. Norris represented Dallas county in the State Legislature, being a member of the 16th General Assembly.. He has held the office of justice of the peace. He married Miss Aurelia Colcord in 1831.
