Born on September 19, 1824 in Miami, Warren, Ohio, and died on March 10, 1903 in Montrose, Lee, Iowa. He opened an office in 1851, with his brother Zebulon and became partners in their medical practice which they continued until 1857. Dr. Hollingsworth represented Lee county in the Fifteenth General Assembly, 1874.
