Warren County
Born in Greene County, Pennsylvania November 24, 1831. He lived in Warren County, Iowa before moving to Wyoming, where he founded the Swan Land and Cattle Company. He was married to Miss Ann McCollough. Mr. Swan was elected to represent Warren county in the Thirteenth Iowa General Assembly, 1870. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church.
