Union County
Born 1823. He married Ann Elizabeth Mohler on the anniversary of her 19th birthday, January 19, 1848. Mrs. Davis was a daughter of John Mohler of Georgesville, Franklin County, Ohio. The first resident physician in Afton was Dr. W. B. Davis, who settled in the summer of 1856. He served in the House of the Iowa Legislature in the 7th (1858-1860) and 10th (1864-1866) sessions. In 1873 he served in the House of the Kansas Legislature, from District 83, Delphos, Ottawa. W. B. Davis & Son were the publishers and proprietors, Delphos Carrier. He was a Republican.
