Born in Brown County, Ohio, January 30, 1816. He came to this county in 1857 and owns 203 acres of land. He has held the office of school director, and served as president of the board. He was also a Representative from this county in the Tenth General Assembly. He married Miss Maria McClure, February, 1840.
