Born in 1837. Mr. Bell was a lawyer. He served in the Civil War Co. F. 13th Wisconsin Infantry enlisting August 18, 1864 and mustering out May 22, 1865. Mr. Bell was elected to represent Pottawattamie County in the Tenth Iowa General Assembly, 1864.
