Born December 6, 1800, in Ohio. Mr. Pritchard married Miss Susan Laffer daughter of Henry Laffer and Mary Shaffer on December 12, 1822, in Tuscarawas County, Ohio. They had 4 children. She died December 8, 1848. He married Jane Casebeer on April 10, 1850, and they had one son. Mr. Pritchard was elected to the Iowa House of Representatives for the Fifth General Assembly, 1854. He died August 9, 1855 in Des Moines, Iowa.
