Father of two daughters: Charlene and Debra. Managed Griffin Wheel Co. in Council Bluffs, developing new plant manufacturing cast iron water pipe. Started own business, Council Bluffs Janitorial Service, Inc., Council Bluffs-Omaha Area in 1968. Member of Baptist Church, Masonic Lodge, Shrine, Elks Club, Rotary Club, Council Bluffs Chamber of Commerce. Active in Boy Scouts of America, YMCA. First term.
