Council Bluffs Pottawattamie County Republican. Born in Kansas City, Kansas, March 29, 1938, son of Dave and Mary Mollett. Educated in Kansas City elementary schools, Turner High School, University of Nebraska at Omaha and Riders College of New Jersey. Married Sandy Brown Mollett May 2, 1959. Father of two daughters: Charlene and Debra. Managed Griffin Wheel Co. in Council Bluffs, developing new plant manufacturing cast iron water pipe. Started own business, Council Bluffs Janitorial Service, Inc., Council Bluffs-Omaha Area in 1968. Member of Baptist Church, Masonic Lodge, Shrine, Elks Club, Rotary Club, Council Bluffs Chamber of Commerce. Active in Boy Scouts of America, YMCA. First term.
