Representative from Benton county, was born in Benton county, Iowa, October 28, 1868, of New England parentage. Attended rural schools and completed a course in Tilford Academy at Vinton. Has since been engaged in farming, feeding and shipping live stock. Served on school board and was township trustee for several years. Elected Representative in 1908. A Republican in politics.
