Representative from Des Moines county, was born at Danville, Iowa, February 27, 1871. His parents were born in Ohio. His father served in the Thirteenth General Assembly of Iowa. Mr. Sater received his education in the Danville graded schools. Began farming and raising of stock in 1891, which occupation still engages his attention. Married in 1905 and has two daughters. Has taken great interest in political affairs and has represented his party on their committees. Has served as a member of the school board and was township clerk for two years. Elected Representative in 1910. A Democrat in politics.
