Representative from Henry county, was born in Henry county, Iowa, April 21, 1865. His parents, J. M. Leach and N. M. Leach moved from Selby county, Indiana, to Henry county, Iowa, in 1853, and purchased the farm which they still own and cultivate. His early education was obtained in the public schools of Iowa, supplemented by attendance at an academy. He takes an active interest in farming and stock raising and feeding. Elected Representative in 1910. A Democrat in politics.
