DENIS P. HOGAN Representative from Cass county, was born near Farley, Iowa, August 29, 1869, of Irish parentage. Attended the rural schools, the Corning high school and St. Benedict's College at Atchison, Kansas. Entered a bank at Wallace, Nebraska, in 1899, as a bookkeeper, afterwards becoming assistant cashier. Re turned to Iowa in 1894 and in 1897 organized and became cashier and active manager of the Farmer's Savings Bank of Massena. He is now president and the majority stockholder of this institution. Devotes considerable time to real estate. Organized and became secretary in 1895 of the Massena District Fair. Is manager of the Massena Telephone Company and has been treasurer of the Masena Independent School District for many years. Married Miss Dolly M. Snelson of Massena in 1901. Elected Representative in 1910. A Republican in politics.
