Representative from Adams county, was born in Corning, Iowa, April 5, 1871, and has lived all his life in his native county, where he is a manufacturer of brick and tile and holds important land interests. His father was born in Vermont; his mother in Indiana. Graduated from Simpson College in 1892, and in September of the same year was married to Miss Flora Myrtle Okey. They have two sons and one daughter. He is a member of the Methodist church, a member of the Grant Club of Des Moines and a Mason. Elected representative in 1912. A republican in politics.
