Representative from Dubuque county, was born July 28, 1854, at Holy Cross, Dubuque county, Iowa, of Irish parentage. Resided there until 1909, when he moved to Table Mound township, Dubuque county. Has a common school education, and since finishing school has been engaged in farming and stock buying. Elected representative in 1910. Re-elected in 1912. A democrat in politics.
