Representative from Palo Alto county, was born of American parentage, on a farm near Lanark, Illinois, June 27, 1870. His parents moved to Kansas in 1872, and to Grundy county, Iowa, in 1875. Attended the College of Dentistry at the University of Iowa for two years and graduated from the Chicago College of Dental Surgery in 1898. Has practiced his profession at West Bend since 1900. Was mayor of West Bend for two years and has served on the school board. Was married in 1892 to Miss Matilda Miner. Elected representative in 1910. Re-elected in 1912. A republican in politics.
