Studied law in the office of Henry L. Huff, who was a member of the Thirteenth general assembly. Was admitted to the bar in 1900. Became a member of the law firm of Huff & Huff at Eldora, but since 1907 has practiced alone. Was elected city solicitor of Eldora in 1908. Elected representative in 1910. Re-elected in 1912. A republican in politics.
