ERNEST J. HEATON Representative from Union county, was born in Glasgow, Jefferson county, Iowa, August 12, 1860, of English parentage. He was educated in the common schools and attended Parsons College at Fairfield, Iowa. Was married to Miss Ida A. Osmond in 1883. Their family consists of two sons and one daughter. Was township clerk for eight years and has served as a member of the local school board for a great many years. Is an active farmer and stock raiser at present. Elected representative in 1912. A republican in politics.
