Representative from Iowa county, was born in Michigan in 1845. His parents were born in Pennsylvania. In 1854 he moved with his parents to Iowa and settled on a farm near Koszta, Iowa county. In 1877 he was married to Miss Mary C. Norton. Their family consists of two boys and one girl. Moved to Marengo. Iowa county, in 1910, where he has since resided. At present he takes an active interest in farming. Elected representative in 1912. A democrat in politics.
