Representative from O'Brien county, was born in London county, Tennessee, June 28, 1862, of American parentage. He attended the University of Tennessee, from which place he graduated in 1886. The same year he moved to Paulina, Iowa, where he engaged in the grain business, which occupation he follows at the present. He was married to Miss Grace Jennings June 16, 1896, and his family consists of four girls. He is a member of the First Presbyterian church of Paullina, and a member of the Masonic lodge. Elected representative in 1912. A democrat in politics.
