Representative from Adair county, was born in Fontanelle, Iowa, December 4, 1875, and has been a resident there all his life. He received his education in the Fontanelle high school and Simpson College. Graduated from Rush Medical College in 1898, and, after a year's internship at St. Joseph's Hospital in Chicago, located in his native town to take up his father's practice. He served as Lieutenant Surgeon in the 56th Regiment I.N.G. for three years. He is a member of the Mystic Shrine, Knights Templar and Scottish Rite orders. Elected representative in 1914. A democrat in politics, as was his father who served in the twenty-third general assembly.
